Site Assessment Program

Need support or guidance in your yard or garden?

Consider the Orange County Master Gardener Volunteer

Site Assessment Program.

We offer a one-hour consultation with a team of two CCE Orange County Master Gardener Volunteers at your property. We offer recommendations in a variety of areas including:

  • Plant placement (annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, edible plants, etc.)
  • Vegetable Gardens
  • Native Plants
  • Pollinator Plants
  • Plant / Weed Identification
  • Plant Disease
  • Pest Identification and Management
  • Lawn Maintenance
  • Soil Health
  • When to use a paid professional company

After the visit you will receive a summary of the site assessment with applicable resources.

NOTE:  We will only be doing 10 site assessments this year. Everyone will be contacted in the order in which they signed-up. We will start reaching out to people during the week of August 10th. Once we have hit our limit for the year, we will reach out to the remaining people on the list to let them know.  Thank you for your understanding.

Cost:

$150 for the one-hour visit, plus additional fees if samples are requested.

The site assessment does NOT include:

  • Landscape design plans or blueprints
  • Landscape maintenance
  • Recommendations on specific landscape, pest control, or lawn maintenance companies

Thank you for your interest in this program!

We are not taking anymore sign-ups at this time.

Please check back in the spring.
