Make a Flower Press/Herbarium

  • Saturday, September 17, 2022, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Have you ever wanted to preserve the beauty of your garden? In this workshop, participants will see examples of herbaria and construct their own wooden 9”x12” plant press/herbarium. Join us to begin the process of preserving your own personal flower collection or to prepare pressed plants for future craft projects. All materials will be provided.

Presenters: Bernice Yeaw Mulch has been a Master Gardener Volunteer for 12 years. Her home garden in the village of Warwick was featured on the Warwick Garden Tour and she is one of the original coordinators and educators for Warwick Community Garden. Bruce Rennie is a retired science teacher and nature educator who has been a Master Gardener Volunteer for 5 years. He has enjoyed teaching botany and biology from Kindergarten to the graduate level.
