4-H Parliamentary Procedure Workshop |
Grades 6–12 | FREE REGISTER HERE This hands-on workshop will introduce youth to parliamentary procedure and the skills they need to participate in and help lead effective club meetings. Participants will learn about officer roles, motions, the order of business, and other meeting procedures, followed by a mock club meeting where they can practice what they have learned. Students will visit hospitals, colleges, and veterinary facilities, meet professionals working in the field, and participate in hands-on experiences. Sessions will take place at locations throughout the region. |

REGISTER HERE Grades 6+ | FREE This four-session program introduces students to important financial skills they can use now and as they get older. Topics include setting financial goals, creating a budget, saving, understanding credit and debt, navigating banking, and recognizing and avoiding fraud and scams. The program is designed for students in grades 6–8, although all students in grades 6 and above are welcome. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate. Students who complete the series will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. |
