No-Till Squash Twilight Meeting 2026

  • Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Thinking about trying no-till? Already giving it a try and want to share what worked—and what didn’t? Join us for an informal, farmer-to-farmer discussion about the benefits and challenges of growing no-till pumpkins within a conventional production system.

Erik Schellenberg will provide an overview of the Conservation Innovation Grant Soil Health Demonstration Project, funded by USDA-NRCS. Leonard DeBuck will share his experience with no-till pumpkin production, including what has worked well in his system and what he would like to change going forward.

This is an opportunity to learn from fellow farmers, share experiences, and ask questions. Please come prepared with your questions and ideas!

A snack will be provided.

Funding for this program comes from a USDA-NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant awarded to Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County.
