In this 4-H Environmental Program, youth will explore the natural world through hands-on activities that foster an understanding of ecosystems, conservation, and sustainability. While learning about topics like renewable energy, habitat preservation, etc. youth will develop the skills and knowledge to become responsible stewards of the environment and make a positive impact on their communities.
Earth Day is an international day devoted to our planet. It draws attention to the environment and promotes conservation and sustainability. Each year, around 1 billion people around the world take action to raise awareness of the climate crisis and bring about behavioral change to protect the environment.
This program is for youth ages 8-19 years old.
This program is part of the Orange County 4-H “Green Minds, Bright Futures” Program, where youth explore the natural world through hands-on activities that foster an understanding of ecosystems, conservation, and sustainability. Youth will develop the skills and knowledge to become responsible stewards of the environment and make a positive impact on their communities.
