Considering a career in veterinary science, dairy farm management, horticultural production, or even agricultural-related business? Join the 4-H Agriculture Career Development Program — where passion for agriculture meets real-world opportunity. Learn from ag professionals, tour agricultural operations, strengthen your resume, and prepare for college or a career in the growing ag industry. Youth ages 14 to 19 with an interest in a career in agriculture are eligible to apply.

Sessions held the first Thursday of each month,

March–October, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements:

  • Ages 14-19 with an interest in agricultural and food-industries
  • Must attend all but one session and complete all but one assignment to earn a Certificate of Competition.
  • Cost: $50 per person
  • Participants MUST BE enrolled in 4-H. Not a member?
  • Must give a 4-H Public Presentation

Outcomes:

  • Certificate of Completion
  • College ready resume & cover letter
  • Hands on agricultural experiences
