Have you recently adopted a related child? Are you thinking about becoming a parent/guardian for someone related to you? Are you raising a child that is related to you?

Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County is providing an online, self-paced series to help folks in this new role understand and better equip themselves at:

• Current parenting practices
• How children exhibit trauma, grief and loss and learn ways to help them manage it
• How to navigate difficult relationships with adult biological parents
• How to manage this new role of parenting and how to gain support from others
• And More!

*Based upon nationally acclaimed curriculum called, Parenting a Second Time Around (PASTA) and utilizing resources from NTDC

This online series can be done on your own time, when it fits into your calendar.

This free online program runs from Monday, September 22nd through Monday, November 10th.

Registration closes on September 17th.
