2025 Build a Salad Box Workshop

  • Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

If you love the idea of eating home-grown salads, a salad box can keep you in greens all season long! Bring a pair of sturdy work gloves, and we will supply the materials and instructions for you to build your first salad box. You will also receive the instructions to build more on your own. Your portable salad box allows you to keep your plants in optimal growing conditions.

Each box has 2 ft. sq. of growing area and can grow 1-2 lbs. of greens such as arugula, beets, chard, endive, escarole, herbs, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, and spinach. Each participant will make a salad box and receive soil and seeds to get growing!

Registration closes: Friday, April 4th. Registration is limited to the first 20 people.

Sorry, no refunds.  If you can’t attend, please send someone in your place.

Fee

$45 per person, includes materials to make a 21” long x 15” wide x 3.6” deep portable salad box as well as potting soil and seeds.
