This training provides a career path for beginner mushroom cultivators looking to expand their production practices. Participants will learn propagation and cultivation techniques, identification procedures, and safe harvesting practices compliant with Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Additionally, we'll explore all the potential uses for mushrooms. Including food, medicinal uses, skin and hair health, environmental benefits, nutritional benefits, immune system support, and more!
Supervisors, farmers, other farm businesses, and homeowners who want to add agriculture to their properties and the public are encouraged to attend!
