Join us on the 2^nd Tuesday of the month out at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center Community Garden for a quick garden lesson. Note April’s session is on the 4^th Tuesday of the month.

Each session costs $5 per family or $25 all six sessions.

Tuesday, May 9 @ 5:00 pm	Seeding and Transplanting	Which plants should be direct seeded and which should be transplanted? Come learn proper seeding and transplanting techniques and leave with some seed and transplants.
Tuesday, June 13 @ 5:00 pm	Garden Maintenance	Watering and weeding seem to be everlasting jobs. Learn tricks reduce the time you spend watering and weeding your garden.
Tuesday, July 11 @ 5:00 pm	Pest Management	Do you ever wonder if an insect is a friend or foe?  Come learn about garden insects as well as common vegetable diseases.
Tuesday, August 8 @ 5:00 pm	Harvesting & Cooking	Late summer abounds with delicious produce. Learn the proper way to harvest, store, and prepare your bounty.
Tuesday, September 12 @ 5:00 pm	Harvesting & Cooking	More produce to harvest in early fall. Learn the proper way to harvest, store, and prepare your bounty.
