Orientation Monday, March 28, 6:30 PM at the Cornell Cooperative Extension office, 18 Seward Avenue, Middletown. Mandatory attendance for all beginners (NO DOGS).
Open to youth interested in learning Dog Obedience and Grooming/ Handling. New members must be 8 years old by 9/30/21.
Please request registration forms by calling the 4-H office at 845-344‑1234 or e-mail ds2285@cornell.edu. Must register by March 25th.
There is a $30 Dog Program registration fee. Click Here to pay online or pay by check (made out to CCE Orange County). Meetings will be held on Monday evenings 5:30pm-7:30pm at the CCE Education Center & 4-H Park located in Otisville.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These classes are designed as a youth development experience for children, not as a place just to get your dog trained. Dogs need to be controlled by the youth, i.e., a 130 lb. strong dog and a 60 lb. kid will probably not work out.
