2020 Holiday Kissing Ball 'Take & Make' Zoom Workshop

Nothing is more festive than holiday decorations made with fresh greens!

This live Zoom workshop will enable participants to safely create a beautiful kissing ball. Participants can pick up the materials for this project on Wednesday, December 2^nd or Thursday, December 3^rd at either Cornell Cooperative Extension in Middletown or the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. Participants will need their own pair of clippers and gloves.

The December 4^th Zoom session will begin with an introduction to all the gorgeous greens you will have received in your packet followed by a demonstration. Then attendees will work together in small Zoom groups with a Master Gardener Volunteer to create their own beautiful kissing ball. Join us for this great family project!

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a questionnaire which will allow you to pick when and where you would like to pick-up your supplies. Please fill out this questionnaire, so we can have the materials ready for you to pick-up at the time and place most convenient for you!

In the beginning of December, you will receive an email with the Zoom link to attend to live workshop.

Setting Up Zoom:

To download and install the Zoom Application:

• Go to https://zoom.us/download and from the Download Center, click on the Download button under “Zoom Client For Meetings”.
• This application will automatically download when you start your first Zoom Meeting, but installing before class is a good idea.
• Once the download is complete, proceed with installing the Zoom application onto your computer.
• Once Zoom is installed, click on the emailed Zoom link to begin viewing the class in Zoom

Fee

$40 per person includes kissing ball materials. Discounted fee of $36 for GOC subscribers.
