Create a Floral Centerpiece Workshop

  • Saturday, July 24, 2021, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Do you have “Zoom Fatigue”? So do we! Come out and join us at the Education Center and 4-H Park for this live lecture and workshop. Register before July 18, 2021. Attendance is limited to the first 20 registrants.

In the spacious, open air Kosuga Barn you will learn the joy of arranging flowers you collect from your garden or those you purchase. Each participant will design a floral centerpiece to take home.

You will learn about other types of arrangements - one more formal and one less constructed. A review of some types of flowers to select, conditioning to prepare flowers to design, and a list of suggested supplies will be distributed. All materials for the centerpiece are included in your registration. Each attendee is encouraged to bring gloves and clippers.

Patti Martellaro is a Senior Master Gardener. She enjoys meeting people through Master Gardener Volunteer workshops and demonstrations. Some of her favorite programs involve working with flowers, arranging flowers, container gardening, and nature craft programs.
