Creating a Fragrance Garden & Extracting Fragrances 2021

  • Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

The goal of a fragrance garden is to create a collection of plants that are irresistible to your eyes and nose. First you’ll learn how to select plants for your fragrance garden including extremely fragrant plants as well as those from which you can easily extract fragrance. The session will include information on harvesting the blooms and/or leaves followed by a demonstration on extracting fragrances for a variety of at-home uses such as essential oils, pomades, hydrosols, and more.

Senior Master Gardener Gerda Krogslund and Master Gardener Kimberly Marshall will be your guides on this sensory journey. We hope that you will be able to join us for this virtual presentation and demonstration!
