Even in the best of times, we need to be resilient. We need to have the skills to bounce back from challenges and adversity. But these days, during the COVID pandemic, we need it more than ever.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Delaware and Orange counties invites you and your coworkers to join us for this 5-workshop series of professional development opportunities, where we will explore brain science, behavioral interventions, and a resiliency mindset to grow resiliency personally, in your organization and community. You will have the opportunity to exercise new ways to help you learn resiliency skills, promote positive behavior, support student, family, community and organizational resiliency and promote self-care.

The series will launch with a focus on "Growing Resilience Begins with Self Care" on Thursday, January 14th from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. During this Zoom training, participants will learn about the impact of stress and vicarious trauma, review and practice strategies to promote self-care, explore the essential individual nature of self-care and build a plan for personal sustainability.

Each month from January to May we will feature a one-hour Zoom training on Growing Resilience on the second Thursday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. Workshops will be interactive and collaborative with participants, focusing on essential learning and practical take-aways for immediate implementation.
