Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County’s 4-H Youth Development Program will be hosting Open Project Judging of eligible projects for any youth ages 5-21 in Orange County to enter.
Typically, Project Judging by Orange County 4-H would be held during CCE Orange County’s own Fair however due to limitations and restrictions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, this event was cancelled for 2020.
Join Orange County 4-H members by entering your handmade creations for evaluation and display. Share your hard work with all of Orange County! Projects will be photographed and displayed on the CCE Orange County and Orange County 4-H website.
Some of the
categories of eligible projects include fall under Horticulture, Natural
Science, STEM, Family & Consumer Sciences and much more. The Project Entry and General Interest book
lists all categories that are eligible for Open Project Judging and the
requirements that must be met for each project entered. A separate set
of requirements will apply within each age group.
You MUST make an appointment to bring your project(s) to CCE Orange County’s Education Center & 4-H Park located at 300 Finchville Turnpike in Otisville, New York for curbside drop-off. New York State and CDC Guidelines will be followed, and masks MUST be worn at the Education Center & 4-H Park.
Appointments for drop off will be available on
Friday, September 25th between 2 and 8 PM or Sunday, September 27th
between 12 and 4 PM. The registration deadline is September 24th!
