Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training is designed to keep youth up to date on content related to industry standards and government regulation. This program will introduce youth to the importance of animal health in a wide variety of species. Youth will explore the importance of bio security, animal well-being, food safety, and life skills. Youth will become certified through classroom and hands-on instructional settings.
If your child is not currently enrolled in Orange County 4-H, the cost will be $10.00 per youth. Our program will be held at the CCE office in Middletown, NY on Saturday, March 14 from 10:30 AM -1:30 PM. This is a first-come, first-serve class that will only be accepting the first 25 youth ages 8 to 21 so be sure to sign up quickly. Registration for all and payment for non-Orange County 4-H Youth of $10.00 is due March 10th. Register online through the link(s) below or call Carol at 845-344-1234 to drop off cash or check.
