Are you a teacher or club leader looking for a great hands-on science activity for your youth this spring? Well if so come explore the word of feathers! In this 90-minute teacher/leader workshop we will review some helpful hands-on curriculum provided through 4-H that reflects the importance of incubation and embryology of chicken eggs.
In the training you will be given a sample of the activities and materials that 4-H can provide for your group of youth in grades one- three. We will then explore and discuss the world of incubation and embryology and how your club or class can be a part of the hatching madness. We will finish our time together exploring the package offered for spring on 2020 by Orange County 4-H to your classroom.
The program being offered this year is called “Incubation with your Teachers.”
For a fee of $20.00 per classroom teachers will receive candler, brooder box and incubator. Teachers are responsible for all materials being picked up and dropped back off to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County. We prefer that we have two- four classrooms per school participate.
This event is for our FREE Teacher or club leader training being offered at our CCE office located at 18 Seward Ave Suite 300, Middletown, NY 10940.
So teachers be sure to bring your calendars and sign up for your FREE Training! Our projects and packages run from April - June in twenty-five day sessions.
