Horse Fun Day

The Orange County 4-H Horse Program would like to invite all girls and boys who would like to learn more about horses to our Horse Fun Day!

Time slots will be given from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. 

Each child will have the opportunity to visit 5 different stations:

Groom a horse or pony.

Ride a horse "lead-line" (helmets will be provided).

Learn about horse anatomy, tack, and the standard-bred breed.

Play horse games. 

Create and decorate a horse craft. 

Cost: $10/child. The event is geared for ages 4 and up. Groups are welcomed and this is a great field trip for any club, Cub Scouts, Daisy's and Brownies! Allow approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete all stations, but are welcome to stay longer. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
