2019 Making Homemade Soaps

  • Each participate will receive a packet of information that has recipes, handouts, lye cautions, etc. 

*Cold process soap making requires use of lye. Participants MUST wear closed toe shoes - no flip flops or sandals! You will be provided with necessary safety equipment,  such as long-sleeved lab coats, safety glasses and nitrile gloves (not latex). Each participant will be required to sign a risk waiver before the start of the session, and will need to bring a large towel or beach towel. Must be 18 years or older.
