Duck Derby 2018

  • Saturday, July 28, 2018, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The fifth Annual Great Extension Duck Derby will be held at the Park during our 4-H Showcase and Family Fun Day, on Saturday, July 28th at 4:14 pm. We will actually be “building” a temporary river to run our ducks down. (Yes, we can do this – we did it last year!!). We are calling the headwaters at the starting line the 4-H DREAM STREAM…and the mouth at the finish line the DERBY DELTA. The course itself will be the “WADDLING WATERS.” Having the Derby at the Park will be a great opportunity for people to also participate in all the terrific activities at the 4-H Showcase. People will still adopt small, rubber ducks which will “race” down our “river!” (Hint: we’re using a lot of plastic, a lot of hay bales, and tanker water).

GREAT EXTENSION DUCK DERBY SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE

Community sponsors are an important part of our Duck Derby Fundraiser. They really help provide additional funding that supports the building efforts we have for the Park. Please note the different levels of donations available and the recognition provided by each level.Donations are requested by July 12th so we can provide the proper signage and recognition.
