21st Annual Making Healthy Decisions Conference. Bridging the Gap: Building Community through Intergenerational Programs

Conference Purpose

To acquaint participants with most current research regarding building and enriching communities through intergenerational programs, activities, spaces and living arrangements.

Objectives

- Learn about how different generations can find common grounds

- Understand the benefit of intergenerational programs and living spaces

- Identify community building activities suitable for all generations

- Review games then and now and how they can serve to bridge generational gaps

Who Should Attend

Individuals and professionals who are engaged with their communities through programs and services for members of all ages, including Educators, Human Service Professionals, Program Administrators, Mental Health and Health Care providers, Child Care professionals, Seniors, Adults, Youth and anyone interested in this topic.

Conference Information

Fee includes breakfast, lunch and a resource packet. Only $60 per person for early bird registration (payment must be received by 10/13/2017). Registrations after Oct 13 are $75. High school students and seniors (65 and above) registration is $45. Final registration deadline is October 20. Sorry, no refunds after Oct. 20th. 

Please dress comfortably to accommodate light activities.
