General Rules
1.Classes are open to adults.
2.All entries must be grown by the exhibitors, except plant material used in the succulent garden and chair.
3.All entries must be submitted between 10am-12pm on Friday, July 28, 2017. Entries must remain on display until 5pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017.
4.Entry forms are due by July 26, 2017.
5.Wild collected plants which are listed as protected or invasive will not be permitted entry. For a complete list visit www.dec.ny.us to comply with general rules will cause forfeiture of prize.
6. Failure to comply with general rules will cause forfeiture of prize.
7.All entries are $2.00 each. Payment will be accepted when you bring in your exhibit.
8.Name, address and phone number of exhibitors must be on the back of all entry cards.
9.Exhibits are entered at the exhibitors own risk. The committee is not responsible for loss or damage to any containers or personal property. Reasonable precautions will be taken by the Horticulture Department.
10.Ribbons will not be mailed.
11.Conditioning of flowers: Try to pick your flowers early in the morning the day before judging. Place them in clean warm water with floral preservative and keep them in a cool room. The day of the show, make a fresh cut of the stems.
12.Judges may withhold awards at their discretion in case the exhibit fails to meet the category requirements.
