Making Homemade Fruit Shrubs

  • Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Shrubs are fruit vinegar-based syrups from the Colonial era that are making a comeback. They can be used as refreshing drink mixers, toppings for ice cream, and in dressings and marinades. In this demo class, learn how to make a variety of fresh seasonal fruit shrubs. We will sample shrubs in class, and each participant will receive a bottle of shrub to enjoy!

Space is limited to 16 people, so please register early to avoid disappointment. Age 18 and over only. Each participant will be required to sign a risk waiver. Please bring an apron. No open-toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back.
