At Stap Dairy, 426 Drexel Drive, Pine Bush, NY
Open House on the Farm is here again! This year, the Stap Family will graciously open up their farm on Saturday October 13th, from 10 am to 3 pm to host the 31st annual Open House on the Farm at Stap Dairy, featuring their creamline milk processing plant in Pine Bush, NY.
Each year, Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County, along with numerous volunteers, dedicate their time to teach and share their knowledge about agriculture in Orange County. On Saturday, October 13th, there will be guided tours of Stap Dairy. There will plenty of activities for the whole family, including hay rides, visits with the calves, a calf naming contest, a petting zoo and free cheese samples. Lunch and ice cream will be available for purchase. Come join us to help expand the knowledge of agriculture here in Orange County!

For their crops to feed their cows they retn 400 additional acres. In the beginning of 2018, Stap's added a processing plant to their main barn. They also added a small multi-breed herd for their farm fresh, pasteurized cream line milk. This past June the farm fresh pasteurized cream line milk became available. It is set up so consumers can purchase milk and view the processing.
