This 10-hour Positive Youth Development (PYD 101) training allows youth workers and volunteers to obtain skills to intentionally guide the development of youth in ways that can only be positive and impactful leading to great results. The knowledge, skills and resources that participants take from the training will enhance their own understanding and ability to connect with youth on various levels. You will network with colleagues from your community and learn from each other. PYD 101 is a highly interactive training that fully engages participants and leaves them inspired to make a difference in young lives.
Target Audience: Those working directly with youth (i.e., Frontline Youth Workers, Educators, Mentors, Volunteers, Case Managers, Mental Health Workers, Librarians, and Youth Pastors)
$30 / person for Orange County agencies and personnel. ($35 / person - for out of county organizations). Participants must attend both sessions. Materials will be provided. Bring your own lunch. Registration deadline is September 30, 2017.
