Middle and High School Beginners Course

4-H Youth Development programs use experiential learning to help youth gain life skills and positive outcomes in four areas:

1. Mastery of subject matter interests,
2. Belonging to groups of positive peers and adults,
3. Independence from confidence gained and,
4. Generosity as they contribute to their communities. 

Participating youth will have opportunity to experience growth in these areas as they learn then demonstrate:

• Understanding of the history of archery
• Understanding of safety on the range
• Understanding of archery range equipment
• Proper shooting form and technique
• How to select and maintain equipment
• How to make some form of archery tack

The primary goals of the program are to help youth demonstrate safety and concern for others, exercise discipline while achieving goals, and connect to their natural environment.

Must register by April 7.
