Mealtime challenges and snack ideas can overload our food budgets during the summer months.
Together as a family, make a plan.
Plan the menu for that week’s meals.
Assign veggie prep, table setting, and clean up for each day.
Buy larger sizes of favorite healthy snack foods and portion them into smaller containers.
Some examples of healthy snacks are: trail mix, grapes, blueberries, baby carrots.
