Who Should Attend?

Those working directly with youth (i.e. frontline Youth Workers, Educators, Mentors, Volunteers, Juvenile/Probation Officers, Case managers, Mental Health Workers, Librarians, Youth Pastors, etc.).

This full 10-hour training allows youth workers to obtain skills to match the critical challenges of youth development. PYD 101 is a comprehensive, interactive training. You must attend both sessions. Materials provided. Lunch is on your own.

Positive Youth Development 101(PYD 101) will introduce you to a dynamic new approach to working with young people. You will increase your knowledge of youth development and explore effective strategiesto engage and work effectively with youth. PLUS the training is highly interactive whichallows you to network with colleagues from your community and learn from each other

in a relaxed setting.
