“Stress is defined as mental, emotional, or physical tension or strain and too much can negatively impact health.”

How do you Manage Stress?

Research states that physical activity and healthy eating will minimalize the effects of stress in your life. Here are some tips to reduce the stress in your life:

  • Start your day off with breakfast
  • Be physically active for at least 30 minutes a day
  • Set aside time every day to relax and do something you enjoy- read a book, dance, sing
  • Recognize your stressors
  • Learn to say “NO”
