Breakfast Switch 2Start your day with a balanced breakfast. It is important to understand what “your” body needs for fuel to get going for the day.

Each of us needs different amounts of calories to keep our bodies healthy. The key is make sure to balance the foods on your plate. Proteins, grains, non-starchy vegetables, fruits and dairy/calcium rich foods.

Many breakfast foods can sabotage your efforts. Read the labels and note the carbohydrates and sugars, and do not forget to check the sodium too.

Breakfast can be delicious and not just a boring bowl of O’s.
