Get on the Fast Track to Accessing Capital and Discovering New Market Opportunities
The HVADC Farm and Food Business Accelerator is an intensive mentoring and training program for Hudson Valley farmers and food entrepreneurs seeking to scale their business, gain access to capital, and build sales.
You have the vision. You may even have the plan. You want to see your business grow, but how do you make it happen–and happen quickly? How do you expand your business and propel it into a viable and sustainable business model?
It takes a thoughtful blend of business and financial planning, management, marketing, capacity building, and most importantly – access to capital.
The HVADC Farm and Food Business Accelerator is an exclusive program of intensive mentoring and training for Hudson Valley farmers and food entrepreneurs. Over the course of six months, participants will engage in a series of online training activities, expert instruction, one-on-one mentoring sessions, group interaction and industry networking events to learn how to talk to investors, discover new market opportunities, and pitch to potential funders in spring 2017.
The Accelerator program follows a 6-month rigorous curriculum that is made up of the following components:
- Teleconferences/Class time – 1 hour/month
- Mentorship – 4-6 hours/month
- Peer-to-peer networking 1-2 hours/month
- Completion of specialized tasks tailored to your business – 4-5 hours/month
- Market Opportunities Networking events – 2 events (min 2 hours/event)
