Cornell Cooperative Extension can help you increase your knowledge of basic financial management strategies to develop effective and sustainable practices and behaviors to assist you and your family in reaching your short and long term financial goals.


The overall goal for Cornell Cooperative Extension is to design and implement programming that improves the quality of life for Orange County residents via financial independence and self-sufficiency. Access to resources and the ability to manage resources effectively are key factors to family stability and strength. Individuals and families must be able to save, spend based on goals and to manage debt responsibly to be financially secure now and into the future. Cornell Cooperative Extension offers several financial management education programs to help individuals and families meet their short and long term financial goals through education and skill building, increasing knowledge of family resources and facilitating behavior change when necessary. Through the following research informed programs, CCE is here to help.
