2020 Autumn Wreath – “Take and Make” Zoom Workshop

There is more to fall than pumpkins and corn stalks! This live Zoom workshop will enable participants to safely create a beautiful autumn wreath from natural dried flowers, leaves and other fall themed items. Participants can pick up the wreath materials for this project on Tuesday, September 22^nd at Cornell Cooperative Extension in Middletown and at the Armory in Newburgh. Participants will need their own hot glue gun/glue and pruning shears.

The September 24th Zoom session will begin with a demonstration and techniques.Then attendees will work together in small Zoom groups with a Master Gardener Volunteer to create their own beautiful wreaths. Join us for a great family project!

Sign up now at the "Learn More" link to secure your registration. Registration closes Thursday, September 17^th, and is limited to the first 30 attendees.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and a subsequent email with the Zoom link for the class and instructions for picking up materials.

Setting Up Zoom:

To download and install the Zoom Application:

• Go to https://zoom.us/download and from the Download Center, click on the Download button under “Zoom Client For Meetings”.
• This application will automatically download when you start your first Zoom Meeting, but installing before class is a good idea.
• Once the download is complete, proceed with installing the Zoom application onto your computer.
• Once Zoom is installed, click on the emailed Zoom link to begin viewing the class in Zoom

Fee

$30 per person includes wreath materials. Discounted fee of $24 for GOC subscribers.
