  • Thursday, February 6, 2020, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Free Workshop for Parents, Caregivers and Teachers of children of all ages.

Most would agree, all children should be able to grow up in perfect conditions, we want children to be able to thrive! Through one of the largest studies ever done in the United States, called the Adverse Childhood Experience Study (ACE Study), we learned that too much stress in childhood can be harmful for our long-term health and well-being.

In this workshop, you will learn how you can help buffer the effects of some of the stress that children experience.

You will learn about practical, everyday life strategies that will help support children thrive, including:

  • Resiliency skills
  • Supporting social and emotional development in children
  • Identify resources and networks for individuals and families
