Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County Education Center & 4-H Park, 300 Finchville Turnpike, Otisville, NY 10963 This entry form, recipe, and $5 fee must be received at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 18 Seward Ave. Ste. 300, Middletown, NY 10940 or postmarked end of business on 7/17/17. Please use a separate form for each entry. Make checks payable to CCEOC. Entries must arrive between 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Education Center & 4-H Park, 300 Finchville Turnpike, Otisville, NY on 7/29/17. NO entry will be accepted after 1:30 pm. Judging will take place at 2 pm. Prizes awarded at 2:30pm.
1st place: $75 gift certificate to the Baker’s Catalogue/ kingarthurflour.com
2nd place: $50 gift certificate to the Baker’s Catalogue/ kingarthurflour.com

Who Can Participate:
Amateurs only, please. (do not derive income from cooking/baking)
Open to all ages
Family participation encouraged (cargiver/parent and child; siblings, etc.)
Agencies/organizations can create a TEAM entry
Fruit Pie Bake-Off Guidelines:
All fruit used in pie must have been grown in Orange County.
Exhibitor must use KING ARTHUR FLOUR, please bring bag of flour or UPC label.
Each baker will be asked where the fruit used in their pie came from.
Every entrant must provide a recipe on an 8½ x 11 inch piece of paper.
Every pie must be a 2 crust pie – the top crust may be a lattice top crust. No crumb crusts.
Non-refrigerated items only (no custards, cheese, egg, lard or meringues) – no refrigeration available.
