Let the Master Gardeners help take the mystery out of pruning! We'll make it as easy as 1, 2, 3!

This workshop is designed to provide a solid base in the science and practice of selective pruning. Learn the reasons for pruning, the theory behind different cuts, as well as what tools are necessary.

Pruning is easy when you can identify the purpose for pruning and how a tree or shrub functions. Let the Master Gardeners help take the mystery out of pruning. Come learn proper techniques and the rules of thumb, as well as the appropriate time of year to tackle the job, relative to plant life cycles and climatic conditions. You will also learn to choose and use the proper tool for the job. Bring your specific pruning questions and have fun!
